One of the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Fighters, Thomas Shuster, was injured today during his day job and lost both legs. The CFVFD is holding a barbeque benefit for Thomas this Sunday, June 7th, 8am-8pm at Station 8, 18210 FM 529 West.

The event was more than we could have imagined. They started thinking they would need about 30 or 40 briskets and ended up selling over 400. Heard this morning on the radio that they raised $45,000 for his medical bills. WOW!
