June 1st starts HURRICANE season and with that brings flood season. And if you haven't heard that little rain we got April 28th over 2000 homes were affected and half of those homes did not have flood insurance. So far 40% of those claims are from people who were not required to have flood insurance but luckly carrried the insurance for thier own piece of mind. Your home insurance policy DOES NOT COVER flood. A preferred policy is as cheap as $348 for the year!! It takes 30 days to issue so its best to get it now before the season gets in full swing!!! :eek:
